The third largest of the Hebridean Islands, Mull, lies off the west coast of Scotland. It has a landscape full of tumbling burns, dramatic scenery, history and traditions. The ferry journey from Oban to the picturesque village of Craignure, gives superb views of the Island. Our excursions include the impressive Duart Castle (entrance ticket not included). Standing proudly on a cliff top guarding the Sound of Mull, Duart enjoys one of the most spectacular and unique positions on the west coast of Scotland . We also visit Tobermory, once a quiet fishing port, today it is the largest settlement on the island. There is a full day tour of Mull with an opportunity to visit the Isle of Iona. This tiny island is cared for by the National Trust for Scotland, and as the birthplace of Christianity, it is dotted with historical sites.
